How matching works

We score clinics on distance, laser platform, specialty and reviews — not on who pays us. Featured listings are always labelled.

Answer a few questions

Size, colours, body location, skin tone, how old the tattoo is — the same things a clinic asks before quoting you.

2

Find laser tattoo removal clinics

Dedicated removal studios plus medspas, dermatology and laser clinics that offer removal — with the laser platform each one publicly names, and the source behind every listing. Open any clinic's profile to see its Google rating and imported reviews.

Specialty:

For the 30 priority clinics, ratings and individual Google reviews were verified directly on Google Maps on Oct 21, 2026 and imported onto each profile — reviews Google cut off in its signed-out view are marked as excerpts there. All other ratings are Google ratings as republished by clinic sites and directories in October 2026; ratings drift over time and will be re-verified before launch. “Laser not published” means the clinic doesn’t name a device publicly; ask when you call.

Browse by city

The directory now covers every major Canadian metro plus the smaller cities and suburbs around them — 224 listings across all ten provinces and Yukon, built from a province-by-province sweep in October 2026. Tap a city to filter the directory.

Some smaller centres had no confirmed laser tattoo removal clinic in our sweep — Prince George and Courtenay/Comox (BC), Moose Jaw (SK), Brandon (MB), Peterborough, Chatham-Kent, Belleville and Sarnia (ON), Saguenay and Granby (QC), Yellowknife (NT) and all of Nunavut. If that's you, run the estimator and we'll match you with the nearest listed clinics in your province. A few listings rest on directory or booking-site evidence only, and chain clinics' service menus are chain-wide — those cards say so, and it's worth confirming the service at that exact location when you call.

Eyebrow & PMU tattoo removal

Microblading and permanent-makeup removal is its own specialty. Brow pigment can darken (oxidize) when hit with the wrong wavelength, so clinics that do this work lead with picosecond lasers, test spots, and conservative settings — and some offer saline removal instead of laser for brows and lips.

  • Laser (PicoWay / PicoSure) — the standard for most brow pigment; sessions usually spaced 6–8 weeks apart.
  • Saline removal — a non-laser option some PMU studios offer for brows and lips.
  • Colour shift risk — flesh-toned and white pigments can turn grey or black under laser; a reputable clinic test-spots first.

The estimator treats a face/brow tattoo as a PMU case and matches you with clinics that list eyebrow or cosmetic-tattoo removal.

Questions to ask before you book

The same checklist the directory is built around — and what our estimator assumes.

How much does tattoo removal cost in Canada?

Most Canadian clinics price by size, roughly $75–$700+ per session depending on the tattoo. Small black tattoos often land around $125–$225 per session; medium pieces $175–$325. Most people need 6–10 sessions, so totals commonly run $1,500–$4,000+. A few clinics break the model: Vanish Clinic in Toronto charges a flat $200 per session at any size, and some studios sell unlimited or complete-removal packages.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on size, ink colours, how saturated the tattoo is, its age, where it sits on your body, and your skin tone. Black ink on a lighter skin tone clears fastest; multi-colour and cover-up work takes longest. In US patient-submission data, about a third of completed removals took 7–10 sessions — treat any clinic promising a fixed number with suspicion.

How long should I wait between sessions?

Clinical guidance is usually 6–8 weeks — your body clears the shattered ink between visits, not the laser. Real-world data shows many people wait 8–12 weeks or more, and longer spacing often means more fading per session. Our timeline estimates use 8–12 weeks.

    Does the laser type matter?

Yes. Picosecond platforms (Candela PicoWay, Cynosure PicoSure / PicoSure Pro) shatter ink finer than older Q-switched nanosecond lasers and are the most common choice in Canada — PicoWay is the platform named most often in this directory. Colour ink (blues, greens, reds) and deeper skin tones are where platform and wavelength choice matter most.

What should I ask a clinic before booking?

Which laser and wavelengths will you use on my colours and skin tone? Do you test-spot? How do you price — by size, flat fee, or package — and what happens if I need more sessions than the package covers? Who performs the treatment, and what are their credentials? Every clinic card in this directory links to the source we used, so you can verify before you call.

    How does the matching work?

Your estimate comes from a rules-based model (size, colour, saturation, location, skin tone, tattoo age) — the same factors clinics assess. Clinic matches are scored on distance, laser fit for your ink and skin tone, relevant specialties, and review strength. Your “expected spend” answer never hides a clinic: it only nudges flat-fee, package and payment-plan clinics up the list when your expectation is lower than the estimate. Paid or featured placements are labelled — for Vancouver and Richmond, our featured pick is shown first and says so.
